STEP ASIDE SCRAMBLE

• Everyone Drives on every hole every time! 
• Everyone Putts on every green (including the 1st cut fringe)!
• Use the tees indicated on the scorecard. 
• Choose best drive. The person whose drive is selected then steps aside, and everyone else except that person hits the second shot. Repeat to the putting surface, then EVERYONE putts! After the tee shot, one member of your group will always be stepping aside on a shot, EXCEPT drives & putts!
• Wash, rinse, repeat on the next eight holes.

Toss

• Once per round, a golfer may elect to pick up their ball and toss it at any time (even after a swing). And yes, it still counts as a stroke!

• Players may toss a ball from anywhere on the course (must be in bounds), even out of a hazard, as long as you can pick up the ball from where it lies (even from the water).

• You must keep at least ONE foot behind the spot from where the ball was picked up. 

• Each player in the group gets ONE toss. Other players may elect to hit the ball with a club as usual and save their toss for later. 

• The player who had to step aside may elect to use their toss too! 

If you group only has 3 players

• No one steps aside on any shot. Pick a person for the 4th drive on tees and 4th putts on greens (rotate extra player each hole).

If you group has 5 playerS

• You probably have two or more "D" players in your group.  So, the person whose ball is chosen steps aside and the other four can all hit.
